Anthracite silk Delphos dress by Venetian couturier Mariano Fortuny. One piece dress finely pleated, made using a technique still unmatched today. Attached by dark blue ties on sleeves embellished by mate Murano glass tubular beads matching the cord. Pearls decorating each side throughout the dress. The silhouette released from the corset reveals the natural beauty of the female body. Can be worn in indoor or prom dress. Black claw hand painted red carmine graphics. Other black ribbon signed Fortuny deposited made in Italy in golden green varnish. Completely hand-finished.
Good condition and color. Dimensions: Length 134 cm heigh from the shoulders, 128 cm high from the chest till the bottom of the dress.
Plus : Undefinable colors due to the natural dyes of the time giving deep reflections ranging from brown or red chestnut.
Less : Good condition and color, nothing to report except some weaknesses without gravity in the cord and two micro tissue slits in the folds of the shoulders, invisible. A small hole of 0,5 cm well repaired in the bottom of the dress.
